Alexis Tsiramanes (she/her) is a Boston based dancer and choreographer pursuing her interest in research, discovery, creation and community. She graduated from Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance Performance. There she had the ability to collaborate with dancers and musicians as well as learn from many influential educators. Alexis performed with the Cambridge Chamber Ensemble in the Venus and Adonis opera choreographed by Alissa Cardone and had the pleasure of working amongst several different artists in the process, as well as make material using archeitechture, statues and imagery. Through these experiences she developed the fascination to work in more interdisciplinary collaborations and using other forms of art as inspiration to create movement. Alexis has a mission as an artist which coincides with what she strives towards as a human, which is moving through the world with her authenticity, truth and care.
