Amanda Francis is a dancer and choreographer based in the Greater Boston area. She recently graduated from Skidmore College with a B.A. in English with a double major in Dance. During her time at Skidmore, she had the pleasure of working with various esteemed choreographers such as Robert Battle, Erika Pujič, Larry Keigwin, Jason Ohlberg, and Fredrick Earl Mosley while also performing as a guest artist for Ballet X in their tour to Saratoga Performing Arts Center and for ODC/Dance in their tour to SUNY Albany. She is also an active member of Dance Prism Ballet, led by Mary Demaso, where she performs and choreographs for their fundraising performances each season. Inspired by her interdisciplinary education, Amanda’s work strives to excavate the stories and humanity within contemporary movement, creating a holistic and emotional experience for both dancers and audiences.
