Angela is a dance artist, choreographer, and teacher based in the Boston, MA and Providence, RI areas. She received a BA in Dance and Performance Studies from Roger Williams University, where she was the recipient of the Kelli Wicke Davis Outstanding Achievement in Dance Award. She has since shared her work in various venues and festivals throughout New England, striving to use movement as a medium to portray the human spirit and embody the stories of individuals who have inspired her.
Angela is a 2017 Young Artist in Residence at Bearnstow, ME, where she co-founded ProviDANCE Project, a contemporary dance collaborative with Ellen Oliver and 3 Spice Dance, a collective of past Bearnstow dance artists. ProviDANCE Project has presented work throughout New England, and is a 2018 and 2020 recipient of the NEFA Dance Fund. In 2020, Angela became a company dancer with Natalie Johnson Dance.
