Annabelle Schultze is a choreographer and dancer from suburban New York. From an early age, she fell in love with ballet, training at the Rye Ballet Conservatory with Ashlee Knapp. In high school, she pursued her dream of becoming a professional dancer by attending the competitive pre-professional program at Boston Ballet School. After completing a trainee position at Carolina Ballet, Annabelle decided to take some time off, and went to Boston College to study psychology and computer science. Nevertheless, she found a vibrant dance community there, and joined the Dance Organization, where she fostered her love for choreography and other styles of dance: contemporary, jazz, hip hop, heels, and more. Her style is technically grounded and flowing, incorporating unique musicality. Currently Annabelle works as a user experience researcher while dancing and choreographing for Danceworks Boston. She is thrilled to join the 2023 aMaSSiT (a MAKE iT / SHARE iT / SHOW iT) choreography cohort.
