Anya grew up in Hudson, NH, and trained and competed under the Melissa Hoffman Dance Center, where she was awarded titles including “Young Choreographer of the Year” at American Dance Awards and "Miss Headliners" at Headliners Dance Championships. She then went on to study at Northeastern University ('20), while dancing and choreographing for the Northeastern University Dance Company (NUDANCO). Now, Anya is Chief of Staff at a nonprofit, and continues to perform with and choreograph for the Danceworks Boston Project, and train at Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet School, and The Brookline Ballet School.
