Christopher Croucher is an artist and performer who uses dance as ritual to communicate with the self and with the world. His dance training and experience includes a Bachelor's Degree in Dance Performance and Composition from Bard College where he developed his love of dancing en pointe, a Master's Degree from the Glasgow School of Art in Fine Art Practice focusing on performance, seven years to the present as a member of the Dance Prism Ballet Company, and the continuous evolution of his art practice which heavily features dance. In his artwork and performance, Christopher seeks to create environments in which he and the audience can experience moments saturated with energy, story, and magic, exploring themes of spirituality, gender expression, connection with nature, and healing.
