Courtney Wagner is originally from Connecticut where she started dancing at age 7 with Melissa Jean Feder at Terpsichore Dance and Theatre Co., concentrating on jazz and tap and a little bit of everything else. She attended Boston University, where she studied with several Boston teachers and artists who have since impacted her dancing, most notably Olivier Besson, Andy Taylor-Blenis, DeAnna Pellecchia, and Ann Brown Allen. In 2009, she graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Minor in Dance. Since graduation she has performed in a variety of venues from Boston to New York with Monkeyhouse and has also presented her own choreography at Third Life Studios. In January 2013 she began her studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (Worcester Campus) to fulfill a long time goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. While the challenging year in the classroom is over, she is excited to move on to clinical rotations and hopefully have more time for dancing instead of studying.
