Meredith Pellon is a graduate of the BFA dance program at The University of the Arts, where she performed works by artists including Paul Matteson, Eiko Otake, Faustin Linyekula, and Jillian Peña. Her work has been featured in Pennsylvania Ballet II: En Avant and Koresh Artist Showcase in Pennsylvania, Ballet Inc.’s The Series and Jennifer Muller/The Works HATCH Presenting Series in New York City, and at venues in Seattle including On The Boards, Velocity Dance Center, Columbia City Theater, and Base Arts Space. In October 2021, her work Ours was presented at Seattle Center. In August 2021, Pellon’s solo work Half Body at Once was performed at Ten Tiny Dances® presented by The Dance Complex at Starlight Square in Cambridge, MA. Pellon curates the site-specific dance series Soft Concrete, the third installment of which was livestreamed on Twitch in November 2020. Pellon has also danced for Seattle-based artists including Allison Burke, Beth Terwilleger/The Gray, Madeline Morser and Elise Meiners Schwicht, as well as written for Phindie and SeattleDances.
