Natalie Schiera is a full-time graphic designer and active member in the Boston dance community. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Natalie started her dance career at a young age, exploring a variety of styles at American Dance Center (Orland Park, IL). In high school, she dabbled in choreography, but Boston University’s Dance Theatre Group is where she first experienced serious choreography mentorship under the direction of Micki Taylor-Pinney. That is also where she met Gracie Baruzzi, with whom she co-founded Nozama Dance Collective in 2013. Natalie has also had the pleasure of dancing with and choreographing for Rainbow Tribe Inc. (2013-present); creating a solo through the much missed Green Street Studios Choreographers in Residence program (2015) that she graciously performed at the Southern Vermont Dance Festival Gala (2017); dancing for Jennifer Kuhnberg (Providence Movement Festival 2019); dancing with and choreographing for Material World (2019-present). She is so excited and grateful for the opportunity to participate in 24-Hour ChoreoFest 2020!
